Nominating Committee
The Nominating Commitee is charged by the Parish By-Laws to identify nominees for the Standing Committee and the posts of Moderator, Clerk, and Treasurer, and Trustees of Parish Donations. In addition , it solicits parishioners to chair the many volunteer committees that make the First Parish a lively and productive institution. Each year at the Annual Meeting the Committee presents a slate of candidates for open governance positions and all committee chairs.
The Nominating Committee offers leadership succession planning assistance to committees and assists the staff and Standing Committee in parish leadership development.
