Subscribing to e-mail lists
All of our email lists are run by Google Groups. Most of these lists have archives of past messages there. If you have registered on Google Groups, you can log in there and manage your subscriptions.

To subscribe to a list, enter your email address in the Google Groups form below each group description, then click on Subscribe.
First Parish in Concord has three announce-only lists, with important information for parishoners.
First Parish Newsletter - subscribers to this list receive the monthly Meeting House News, which is no longer being printed and mailed, except by special arrangement.

First Parish in Concord sponsors three public email lists. While anyone can post a message to these lists, moderators ensure that only relevant messages are accepted.
First Parish Social Action Council - Information on Social Action Council activities and events. This is a moderated list, so all messages will be relevant.

Posting Messages
The public lists are moderated. Go ahead and send a message even if you're unsure if it's appropriate, and a moderator will let you know if it's not.
Messages sent to lists should not have attachments. That makes them too big or possible virus carriers. Images and PDFs are acceptable only if they're small. Microsoft Word files are prohibited. If a large attachment is necessary, ask the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to park it on the web site, and then you can send a URL for it in your message
All messages must have the sender or responsible person clearly identified in a separate block at the end of the message, containing the name, an email address, and possibly a phone number. This is necessary even if contact information is in the body of the message.
Messages should not contain advertising, legal disclaimers, or notices about virus scanning. This is annoying and potentially confusing. If at all possible, send your message from an account that does not append such things.
Only ministers and staff are allowed to post to the FirstParish-Announce list. If you have a message that needs to be sent on that list, please contact the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Messages sent to the SAC list must be written directly to the readers. No forwards are allowed. All messages must be about SAC or SAC-sponsored activities. Please include information about the SAC relationship in the message if it's not obvious. Replies to messages are not allowed, unless they provide important corrections.

This is not a "chat" list, but anything remotely relevant is accepted. If you have a petition, a "call to action", or the like, this is the right list. As with the SAC list, replies are not allowed, except when making important corrections.

Other lists
There are several other private lists for groups at First Parish. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for information on joining or re-joining any of these lists. This includes Pilgrims, PartnerChurch, Choir, GospelChoir, ChildChoir, and 7and8grade.
Unsubscribing or changing your email address or preferences
Every message that you receive from these lists has a link at the bottom which takes you to a page where you can change your address, unsubscribe, or change your subscription preferences.
