Minuteman Senior Services helps elders and others remain in their own homes-safe, comfortable and independent-for as long as they are able, and to support their caregivers as they face the challenges presented by the competing needs of family, work and self. Minuteman staff and volunteers annually serve 15,000 seniors and their caregivers with 22 programs in 16 Metro Northwest communities.

Need: If you can spare one hour a week, you can make a visible, vital difference in the life of a frail and/or low income senior. As a volunteer for Minuteman Senior Services, you will experience the special satisfaction of helping an elder live with independence and dignity.

We offer ongoing, short term and direct one on one volunteer positions, including Friendly Visitors, Grocery Shoppers, shopping and transportation, and delivery of lunchtime meals, in addition to our annual holiday gift project and clean up help. Find out more at http://www.minutemansenior.org. Application, interview and CORI check required. Placement is by mutual agreement. Training and support is provided by Minuteman professionals.
