Sign Up to Bring Coffee Hour Food

Do you ever daydream about the doughnut holes and coffee cake that await you in the Parish Hall after the sermon? Each Sunday we need people to bring food to share for that table. There is a sign-up sheet on the table; and if everybody took one week of the year and chipped in, it would be so easy. The coffee is already made. All you have to do is bring the food, put it out, and clean up at the end of coffee hour. Just fill in your name and phone number on the sign-up sheet on the food table. Someone will call to remind you the week before your date. Thanks so much.

Susan B. Anthony Is Coming to First Parish!

The Women's Parish Association's luncheon program on April 22 will give everyone a chance to meet Susan B. Anthony-the feisty activist who fought diligently for women's suffrage, abolition of slavery and women's rights. Sally Stanton's critically acclaimed one-woman show about this invincible woman is a great gift to First Parish. A catered luncheon buffet will begin at noon, followed by the program at 12:45 p.m. The charge is eight dollars. All men, women and youth are invited. For reservations, contact Dian Pekin at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or 978-263-0426 by April 18.

Ferry Beach Registration

The First Parish Ferry Beach Retreat will be from May 23-26, Memorial Day Weekend, at the Ferry Beach Camp and Conference Center in Saco, Maine. Registrations for the weekend will be taken at coffee hours on April 27 and May 4. Look for the Ferry Beach information table in the Parish Hall, beginning April 20.

Clip Coupons for Open Table

The folks at Open Table could use your help in these difficult times. They would like any coupons for cleaning products, drugstore items and pet supplies that you do not plan to use. Please clip them and put them in one of the boxes at the church. You'll find one in the coat-room and one in front of the RE office. Please be sure that the coupons have not expired. Thanks for your help!
