“Transcendentalists in Italy” Trip with Jenny

Are you considering joining Jenny and the many of your friends who have already expressed interest in our exciting Transcendentalist adventure in Italy? Boston Pride Parade

The Diversity Committee will be taking a group from First Parish to march in the Boston Pride Parade next Saturday, June 14, which starts at noon. Join us for this fun, family-friendly event and help us show First Parish's support for the GLBT community. First Parish will worship at Kerem Shalom, Elm Street

at Route 2, beginning next Sunday, June 15, at 10:00 a.m.

Summer Office Hours

The office at First Parish has moved temporarily to the Parlor. Beginning on Friday, June 20, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. Regular office hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will resume on Monday, September 9.

Construction Update

The Parish Hall is currently filled with boxes to get ready for the construction to begin! Beginning next Sunday, June 15, summer services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Kerem Shalom on Elm Street. For those who may not be familiar with Concord, Kerem Shalom is where Elm Street and Route 2 meet, near the Best Western motel and Papa Razzi's restaurant. The Kerem Shalom parking lot entry is just across from Concord Gas. Detailed driving instructions are on the Kerem Shalom website at http://climbing-trees.net/keremshalom/index.php.

Tour Kerem Shalom

If you would like a tour of Krrem Shalom to become familiar with our temporary place of worship during the summer and early fall, please call the office to sign up to join Margie King Saphier at 10:00 a.m. at First Parish on Wednesday, June 11, to drive over to the synagogue for a 10:30 a.m. appointment.

Celebrate at the Rafael Hernandez School on June 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. Join the Friends of Rafael Hernandez School in Roxbury to celebrate the end of another successful year. P-FLAG Meeting at the Trinity Episcopal Church

The Minute Man Chapter of P-FLAG-Parents, Friends and Families of Lesbians and Gays-will meet next Sunday, June 15, and the third Sunday of every month, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the library of the Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street (River Street side).
