Veterans for Peace
Veterans for Peace is a national, not-for profit, 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1985 with national offices in St. Louis, MO. The VFP has more than 4000 members with chapters in every state. Its membership is made up of honorably discharged veterans who have served our country in times of conflict. The membership includes veterans from all the services, high ranking to enlisted men, and those serving in every US war going back from WW II to the present.
To achieve these goals, members of Veterans For Peace pledge to use non-violent means and to maintain an organization that is both democratic and open with the understanding that all members are trusted to act in the best interests of the group for the larger purpose of world peace.
